“I Know A Team That Would Be Salivating At Draymond Green Trade,” Says Chris Haynes

2 Min Read

With a 1-2 start to the season, it’s becoming clear that the Golden State Warriors could be in for another rough year.

Another season-ending injury to Klay Thompson has crippled their star-power, and Steph Curry finds himself on an island with a cast that just hasn’t been able to step up.

If they don’t get their act together soon, they could lose their chance to contend this season, which could prompt major changes for the Warriors organization. Among them could be a deal involving defensive star Draymond Green, who Chris Haynes recently confirmed has generated interest on the trade market.

Obviously, the Warriors would prefer to hold on to Dray. He has been a core member of the team and a staple for them on the defensive end since their run at the top began back in 2015.

But if it looks like they’ll have to endure another year in the Western Conference bunker, they could use Green as a chip to acquire younger players and draft picks.

As for the team that is “salivating” at the thought of acquiring Draymond, Haynes didn’t reveal any names, but it didn’t stop the fans from speculating.

Draymond isn’t a guy that will get you 20 points a night, but he’s a leader and spark plug who can guard virtually any position in the league.

It’s really no surprise that any team would be interested in acquiring him.
