“We Have Not Seen A Player Like Giannis Antetokounmpo Really In The History Of The Game,” Says Mavs Coach Rick Carlisle

As a 2x MVP, we all know that Giannis Antetokounmpo has some insane basketball abilities. This season alone, the 26-year-old forward is averaging 26.6 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game on 53.5% shooting.

And while this guy has been in action for years now, some people still find themselves surprised by what he is able to do on the court.

Mavs coach Rick Carlisle was the most recent one to give shining praise towards the young star, saying his skillset is particularly unique and something we’ve never seen before.

“He’s really such a unique player. We have not seen a player like him really in the history of the game. You know at 6’10, 6’11, doing the things he does on a full-court basis.

Defensively, guarding every position on the floor, et cetera, et cetera. So you know he’s just great that’s all I can say,” Carlisle told reporters.

To watch a 6′-11″ mutant fly across the air like Giannis does is truly remarkable. It’s like he’s got the body of a big man but the skillset of a guard or wing. On the court, there’s really nothing he can’t do.

It seems like the awe and wonder with his game will really never subside.
