Bill Russell was one of the most dominant big men in NBA history and all his accolades confirm that. This man was great as a player and as a coach, so you know when he talks, everybody must listen. That is exactly what happened recently, with the Boston Celtics legend ending a new debate around American professional sports.
After Tom Brady won his 7th Super Bowl last Sunday, everybody started talking about who is the GOAT of GOATs between the NFL superstar and Michael Jordan, a 6x NBA champion, widely considered the greatest to ever do it in the association and one of the best athletes of all time.

The general consensus was that Brady and Jordan belonged to the same table as the two GOATs but Russell had something to say about it. He chimed in on the situation and easily ended any discussion about Brady and Jordan.
During his 87th birthday, on Friday, the legendary center reminded everybody that he has 11 rings to his name, four more than Brady and five more than Jordan
“Your getting closer,” Russell tweeted with a pic of him and his 11 rings shared between his two hands.

A lot of people can say Russell won those rings when there were less than 10 teams in the league and whatever, but you have to make it to the Finals and have to win, something that has been hard for a lot of people in history.
