The Los Angeles Lakers have recently lost 4 out of their last 5 games, with their latest loss being against the Washington Wizards, who are currently in the 13th seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers have struggled in recent memory, and do not look like a title-winning team at the moment. While Anthony Davis being injured may have contributed to their slump, they should be able to close out against the bottom teams in the Eastern Conference.
Shannon Sharpe has recently commented on the Los Angeles Lakers and their performance without Anthony Davis. Sharpe suggested that the Los Angeles Lakers will not win a title if they cannot beat the Wizards without Davis.
IF* you need AD to beat the Wizards, you’re not winning a title. https://t.co/ebwxhv8KvA

It would be good to see the Los Angeles Lakers snap their losing streak and get back to winning ways. It would definitely help if they were able to close out lesser teams and win the matchups that they’re supposed to. However, figuring things out after one of your best players goes down is never easy. It will take the Los Angeles Lakers some time, but under LeBron James, they will return to winning ways sooner rather than later.
The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled in recent memory, but they won the NBA championship just last season. They could easily get back to being championship-caliber with LeBron James’ leadership, and Anthony Davis will return eventually this season. Things may be rough, but they will get better.
