In the middle of assembling his team for the 2021 NBA All-Star game, LeBron James took a (lighthearted) “shot” at Paul George and the Clippers, alluding to the supposed “rivalry” going on right now in L.A.

Obviously, the “rivalry” isn’t bad enough that Bron didn’t pick PG to his team. So, clearly, there isn’t much animosity there.
Still, it’s fun to speculate — and, of course, that doesn’t mean things won’t change. If the Clippers and Lakers meet in the playoffs this season, it could spark some real tension between the clubs. As things look right now, they could be headed for a collision course in the West.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
