Some awards like Rookie Of The Year seem pretty straightforward, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Paolo Banchero will win it. But others, like the MVP, will be quite controversial. Joel Embiid has spoken time and again about his case, and it seems like he will end up claiming his first MVP this season.

Which Players And Coaches Deserve To Win These Awards?

This is a controversial topic as mentioned before, but there are some deserving candidates in there. Mike Brown has taken the Sacramento Kings back to the playoffs after a massive drought, and they will enter as the 3rd seed, meaning he likely deserves to win Coach Of The Year.

Most Improved Player will likely go to Jalen Brunson, who has emerged as a force after moving to the New York Knicks. But Lauri Markkanen’s exploits with the Utah Jazz deserve a mention as well. Some NBA players think Markkanen should be a lock for the award.

Defensive Player Of The Year has been almost as controversial as MVP, and fans can’t seem to decide who should get it. Whoever wins these awards, there are many deserving candidates. The only certainty is that when the MVP result is announced, it promises to cause a huge stir in the NBA world.
