DeMar DeRozan has been one of the best forwards in the league this season. He has averaged 26.4 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and 4.1 APG, and he has been key to the Chicago Bulls being as good as they currently are.

It seems as though the Chicago Bulls will be without his services for a while. It has recently been revealed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that DeMar DeRozan has entered health and safety protocols and might miss some time. He has officially been ruled out of the Denver-Bulls game.

Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan has entered into the league’s Covid-19 health and safety protocols, sources tell ESPN. DeRozan was the NBA’s Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference, averaging 30 points in a 3-0 week.

DeRozan is ruled out tonight vs. Denver, but it’s unclear how much longer he will be out for the Bulls. DeRozan will need to show two consecutive negative PCR tests in 24 hours, or be isolated for at least 10 days. Team has now announced DeRozan’s entry into protocols.

Hopefully, DeMar DeRozan doesn’t have the COVID-19 virus, and we’ll see whether he will be able to avoid missing a lot of time. There is certainly a pathway for him to continue playing, but if he does test positive again, it seems as though he will have to isolate for 10 days.

The Chicago Bulls will have to find a way to win without DeMar DeRozan. They have other stars on their roster in Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine though, and hopefully, we don’t see this potential absence from DeRozan
