The next fixture between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat will have everyone’s attention. Both sides have great players on the roster, but that is not the biggest reason why fans are waiting for it. In their recent matchup, the Nuggets defeated the Heat quite easily and a big fight broke out in the fourth quarter of the game.

Heat forward Markieff Morris and Nuggets center Nikola Jokic were at the center of this heated battle. Morris elbowed Jokic which led to him losing his cool and shoving Morris.

It turned into a huge fight with players from both sides ready to fight; it seems. But there were two more people who were ready to intervene, Nikola Jokic’s brothers. The Jokic brothers were secretly pictured by an NBA fan and in the image they look ready to come down to the court if their brother needed them.

Markieff Morris’ twin brother Marcus Morris also talked about this fight on Twitter. So it appears like the next time when both teams face-off, it might turn out to be an all-out battle between the two families.

Now according to Eric Goodman, it seems like the Jokic brothers have already bought the tickets for the Nuggets’ matchup against the Heat on November 29, 2021. He tweeted:

“A reliable #NBA source told me, the @Jokicbrothers bought tickets today and are expected to be at the #Nuggets #Heat game in Miami on November 29th.”

With each passing day, it looks like NBA fans have just witnessed the birth of a new ugly rivalry in the league. Let’s just hope no players get hurt if the two teams once again get into a heated scuffle.

As for the punishment for getting into this fight, Nikola Jokic has been suspended for 1 game. Markieff Morris, on the other hand, got fined $50,000 for the flagrant 2 foul on Jokic. Lastly, Jimmy Butler was handed a fine of $30,000 for his role in escalating the altercation.

Although the players didn’t suffer any physical injury, they had to face the above-mentioned suspension and fines.

If you haven’t seen the altercation until now, you can check it out below:
