The game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets had a tense moment. During the game, Markieff Morris bumped into Nikola Jokic quite hard. In response, Jokic got up and shoved Morris with equal vigor. Both players were ejected from the game for the altercation.

After the incident, cameras caught Jimmy Butler verbally confronting Jokic. He was not happy with Jokic’s actions and invited him to the back to fight. There is a little confusion regarding what exactly Butler said, but it’s clear that Butler had fighting words for Jokic.

"Bring that sh*t! Bring that sh*t! Bring yo ass to the back! Bring yo ass to the back! Let's go!"

“Bring that sh*t (or B*tch ass sh*t)! Bring yo a** to the back! Let’s go!

Butler was quick to stand up for his teammate Morris and decided to give Jokic a piece of his mind. Butler is known for having a short temper and was not going to allow the reigning MVP to dangerously push his teammate like that and get away with it.

These two teams will face off again in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see whether the bad blood generated in this game will carry over in the reverse fixture at the end of the month. But for the time being, there is a lot of anger between Butler and Jokic.

Interestingly enough, Butler could get his revenge by winning the MVP trophy this season. Jokic is the reigning MVP right now, and Butler is one of the top contenders right now on the KIA MVP ladder.

It’s hard to predict whether Butler will end the season as MVP, but he does stand a strong chance if he and Miami continue their good streak of performances. The Heat are one of the best teams in the NBA right now. Butler has been their central star and could bring them a lot of success this season.
