Kawhi Leonard will be out for the majority if not all of the season for the Los Angeles Clippers, and it has been up to Paul George to carry the offensive load for the team. Thus far, he has been doing a stellar job. Thus far, Paul George is averaging 27.9 PPG, 8.1 RPG, and 4.9 APG.

Paul George is playing at high level, and it’s obvious that he is doing everything for the team offensively. On the defensive end, he is averaging 3.0 steals as well. At one point, he was the leader in both PPG and SPG.

Terance Mann has recently commented on Paul George’s year thus far, and stated that George is having “a hell of a season”. There’s no question that he has stepped up to the challenge of being the team’s leader this year, and hopefully, they are able to make it to the playoffs.

I mean PG is having a hell of a season so far. He’s doing a great job of leading us on both ends of the floor. I know today he had a possession where he had a strip, got on the ground, got back up took a charge.

That’s inspiring for all of us. When you see your best player doing that it makes you play harder, it just makes you play harder.

I think that’s one of the reasons we withstood their run and won the game. Because when your star is playing like that it just ramps you up.

He’s hot. He’s going to stay hot.

Paul George could win the 2021-22 MVP with the way that he’s playing, though the Los Angeles Clippers will need to be a top seed in order to do that. He’s been in the MVP considerations in the past during the 2018-2019 season.

It remains to be seen how well the Los Angeles Clippers do this season. The Western Conference is going to be tough this season, but under Paul George’s leadership, the Clippers shouldn’t be counted out.
