Giannis Antetokounmpo has already cemented his place as one of the all-time greats in NBA history. Despite being only 26 years of age, Giannis has been wildly successful and already established himself as one of the best players in all of basketball right now.

Antetokounmpo has had an incredible last 12 months, where he has achieved everything that he possibly could in the NBA. And what’s even more impressive is that he achieved all this while playing a style that goes against the most common approach in the NBA of perimeter-based gameplay.

Giannis is a poor shooter of the ball and gets most of his points from inside the paint. Despite this, he has been able to use his size to be able to dominate the rest of the league and find a lot of success.

But it appears that he is trying to fix this going into the new season. During his preseason game, Antetokounmpo has seemingly adjusted his shooting form, and his shots are going down a lot easier. Many fans have expressed excitement and confirm, noting that Giannis would be unstoppable if he can consistently make his jump shots.

But that’s not the only noteworthy thing to come out of Antetokounmpo’s improved shooting. Instagram page Slam Studio posted a side-by-side comparison of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s and Khris Middleton’s jump shots, and the similarities are truly remarkable.

The shots appear to be identical. It is possible that perhaps Khris Middleton has been working with Giannis Antetokounmpo on his shooting. Middleton is one of the Milwaukee Bucks’ more reliable shooters.

And if he has been helping him make his shots regularly on a consistent basis, that could be a dangerous omen for the rest of the league.

Antetokounmpo’s shooting is perhaps the only weakness in his game. And if he can make his shooting an asset, he could go on to become the best player the NBA has ever seen.

All of this remains to be seen, and there is no way to predict what will happen. But the fact that Giannis and Middleton’s jump shots are almost identical could be an indicator of where Antetokounmpo’s shooting is going next season.
