It’s not a secret that Kyrie Irving is one of the most outspoken people around the NBA. But, as vocal as he is about multiple sensitive subjects, he also seems to enjoy some mystery.
Irving is used to posting cryptic tweets and then clearing the air several days after people start speculating about what he wanted to say.
Some believe he just likes the attention, as he usually says it had nothing to do with what people assumed, even when it’s pretty obvious.
Well, it seems like the former NBA champion is back on social media and with the same M.O., as he recently shared another mysterious tweet. And, even though some could say it’s just a reference to the upcoming release of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, it seems like it’s way more than that:
“Step into your power,” wrote the controversial star without further explanation.

While the tweet itself doesn’t say anything, people have speculated about how it could be related to Kyrie’s now-infamous stand-off against the NBA over the vaccine mandate to play in New York City.
Irving is once again MIA and coach Steve Nash admitted that he didn’t know when or if he’d show up to practice.
Moreover, Irving won’t be eligible to play in all of the Nets’ 42 home games next season if he refuses to get the vaccine, forfeiting over $18 million of his salary.
Irving has a history of being a bit of a troublemaker when it comes to these sorts of things, so we wouldn’t expect him to cave into the league’s demands any time soon. Clearly, money isn’t an issue or a priority for him.
Once again, you can never tell with an unpredictable person such as Kyrie. Maybe, he’s just a big fan of Anime and that’s it.
