It is quite evident that being in the league for almost two decades helps you in getting a lot of experience under your belt. That has been the case for Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

Moreover, throughout his career, James has been a great leader and a player to look up to for his teammates. Over the years, he has played with numerous players and one common thing is that he elevates the level of his teammates as well.

During his stint with the Miami Heat, James truly started to develop his skill as a leader in the NBA. He led the Heat to two consecutive NBA championships and as a result, started to bolster his legacy.

Former Heat player Mario Chalmers recently spoke to NBA analyst Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson. In his conversation with Scoop B, Chalmers revealed how LeBron used to lead the team.

“Pass first player until it’s like time for him to get going. Then he’ll take over & dominate. He wants to get his teammates involved, he wants everybody be on the same level as him and shine.”

Chalmers also talked about what helped him the most when playing alongside James and Dwyane Wade.

“Be ready to knock down a shot or make the next decision once the ball comes to you. That helped me by playing alongside him and D-Wade.”

LeBron James' Heat tenure was LIT because the Lakers star's court vision finds you when open notes Mario Chalmers.

Mario was part of the Miami Heat squad for seven and a half seasons while winning two NBA championships. Chalmers left the NBA in 2018 to try his luck overseas.

He had a great career for someone who was a second-round pick and had a near career-ending injury.

Another player who suffered multiple injuries is none other than the youngest MVP in the league, Derrick Rose. Chalmers talked about why he respects Rose. He said:

“That’s one thing I love about D-Rose –he never quits. I respect him and always have. He’s a dog and he’s going to bring the best out of you.”

Derrick Rose is respected because he NEVER QUIT after multiple injuries says Mario Chalmers.

Despite suffering so many lethal injuries, Rose revived his career and is currently part of the New York Knicks. He is a great addition for the Knicks as not only he brings a solid contribution on the court, he can also help their young players further polish their game.
