Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard made a surprising appearance on Drake’s new music video for ‘Way 2 Sexy.’ The 2x NBA champion was the last person you’d expect to appear on a music video, but not even him can’t fight the power of ‘Champagne Papi.’
The brand new video features other big names like Future and Young Thug, but Kawhi’s appearance stole the show when fans watched the video.
Leonard appears alongside the three rappers, dressed in all-white in a desert. He’s spotted behind Future, next to Drake, and then doing some sort of choreography with the three artists.
We have seen him participating in commercials before, but doing a music video was unthinkable for every NBA fan. Well, the forward has surprised us once again with his participation in the clip.
Drake just dropped his long-anticipated album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ after months of speculation. He name-dropped Giannis Antetokounmpo and praised Ayesha Curry, but these aren’t the only NBA references the Grammy award winner included in the project.
The Canadian also got the Klaw, who took his Toronto Raptors to the NBA championship in 2019. This was a very ambitious project, and all these little details and additions demonstrate that Drake isn’t playing around.
