LiAngelo Ball appeared in the Las Vegas Summer League season with the Charlotte Hornets and impressed many through his performance. After a successful campaign with the Hornets in the Summer League, the next step for LiAngelo is to make it to the NBA.

Ball thinks he had a pretty great run during the Summer League and believes he deserves a spot on an NBA team. If any team places their trust in LiAngelo, it would mean that all three Ball brothers will be playing in the NBA.

Well, that is in the future, and currently, LiAngelo has the support of a lot of people to finally enter the NBA. Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum is among the people who are backing up Ball to enter the top league in the world.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Tatum said:

“I Think So, It’s Only Right, He Has Put In The Work. I’m sure he’ll find his way on a team.”

LiAngelo Ball played five games with the Hornets in the Summer League. In those games, Ball averaged a solid 9.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. The cherry on the top was his ability to knock down long-range shots. He finished his campaign while shooting 34% beyond the 3-point line.

Looking at Ball’s stats, he could be a solid addition to a team trying to make it to the playoffs. He will most likely assume a role from the bench initially. But if he can impress NBA scouts, who know what the future holds for him?

After all his brother LaMelo and Lonzo are doing pretty well in the NBA. While Lonzo recently signed a big contract with the Bulls, LaMelo has been handed the keys to the Charlotte Hornets franchise.

If the Hornets decide to sign LiAngelo as well, it will reunite the two brothers. Do you believe adding LiAngelo will improve the Hornets’ chances of making a deep playoff run this season? Or is it still too soon for Charlotte fans to hope for a successful postseason campaign? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
