Nikola Jokic Spotted Drunk On The Streets Of Serbia

Sir Charles In Charge

When people talk about Nikola Jokic, they refer to his great skills as a basketball player. We often hear them call him the greatest passing big man of all time, a walking-triple double, one of the best players in the league, and big etcetera.

But perhaps what makes Jokic stand out the most among several NBA players is his relatable character. He’s just simple, a down-to-earth kind of guy who doesn’t like being in the spotlight.

Sadly for him, that’s exactly what happened a couple of years ago, as someone leaked a video of him completely drunk in the streets of Serbia, clearly struggling to walk without falling and having a very, very good time.

It’s not unusual to see Jokic just doing his own thing when he’s on vacation. He loves to be back home, spend time with his horses, and he’s just a regular person.

And, although he’s not exactly the kind of extrovertive celebrity most NBA players are, it’s tough to miss a 6’11” specimen, so he’s often spotted by the fans even when he’s off the clock.

And, while we don’t advocate for excessive drinking, and even though we’re pretty sure that someone will criticize him, let’s just give him a break. He’s on vacation and can have a couple of drinks as long as he stays in shape.

Jokic was the only player in the league who played big minutes in all 82 games last year, and even though the Nuggets once again fell short in the playoffs, he still had an incredible season.

So, we hope Jokic continues to enjoy his much-deserved free time. He’ll be back in the gym in no time, so he might as well make the most of his vacation while he still can.
