Zach LaVine is set to start an exciting 2021/22 NBA season with the new-look Chicago Bulls. The shooting guard is having a great time in Tokyo, helping Team USA reach the gold-medal game in the 2021 Summer Olympics.

Although his journey with the national team didn’t start the best way, things have changed in Japan. Following a painful loss against France in the tournament opener, Team USA has won four straight games to make it to the final.

In the process, LaVine won four consecutive games for the first time since he was part of UCLA in 2013/14. Redditor “desert_chzhead” found out this incredibly curious stat, sharing it with the world.

He can make it five games in a row with a win against France in the final. Team USA would complete the circle by beating the only team that beat them in the tournament.

Next season, Zach will hope to get more of these streaks with the Bulls. After adding Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso, the team looks ready to make some noise in the Eastern Conference.

They went from being a lottery team to a contender in the East, and LaVine will try to lead this squad to the promised land next year. They have excellent pieces to do the job, but time will tell if Billy Donovan’s squad can live up to the expectations.
