Bradley Beal Will Consider Leaving Washington If Russell Westbrook Gets Traded

Bradley Beal’s future is one of the biggest talking points among NBA fans right now. The Wizards All-Star was one of the best players in the NBA last season and was one of the leading scorers in the league last year. And despite having Russell Westbrook by his side, the two players struggled to help the Wizards past the first-seed in the Eastern Conference Philadelphia 76ers.

Beal has been a star on a floundering team for quite some time now. And his performances have not allowed for any tangible success with the franchise. This is why he is now being linked with an exit. But his future with the Wizards could be dependent on Russell Westbrook.

The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Keith Pompey reported that Bradley Beal could look for the exit in Washington if the Wizards trade Russell Westbrook to a different team. Beal is paying close attention to the situation surrounding Westbrook and could make a decision based on how that situation plays out.

Currently, Beal is in Tokyo, representing Team USA at the Olympics. So his situation will be addressed as and when he is relieved of his duties with the team.

At the moment, there are rumors linking Beal with several teams within the NBA. Most reports suggest that Beal would ideally like to go to the Boston Celtics. However, the Celtics may not be willing to let go of Jaylen Brown in any kind of deal for Beal. The Golden State Warriors could look to bring in Beal and pair him up with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry ahead of the new season.

Beal going to the Warriors would bring them right back into the championship picture for the new season. But for now, Beal’s future is still undetermined. There will be developments in the coming weeks, as the offseason further progresses.
