Kendrick Perkins On Brooklyn Nets – Boston Celtics Series: “I’d Rather Be Watching LaMelo, Scary Terry And The Hornets Right Now.”

2 Min Read

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics earned the 7th seed after beating the Washington Wizards in a play-in game. The 7th seed earned them a matchup with the Brooklyn Nets, but so far, they have looked fairly overmatched. The Boston Celtics are a good defense, but it is difficult to defend some of the best players in the game.

The score at halftime in the Celtics’ game against the Nets is 47-71. Part of the reason for the Boston Celtics’ performances is due to the absence of Jaylen Brown for the rest of the season. If the Brooklyn Nets go up 2-0, then it gets that much harder for the Celtics to come back.

Kendrick Perkins has suggested that he’d rather watch LaMelo Ball in the playoffs. Most people love watching him play: his passing is otherworldly, and often jaw-dropping. However, it’s not like Jayson Tatum is a boring star to watch himself and his scoring seems to be approaching superstar level.

Anything can happen in basketball, and while the Brooklyn Nets look like the favorites in the series, anything could happen. While it would have been fun to watch the Hornets compete against the Nets, it is likely that they would have struggled just like the Celtics against Brooklyn’s elite offense.
