Andre Drummond has apparently cleared his mind and will be heading to Los Angeles to join the Los Angeles Lakers. The 27-year-old center was bought out by the Cleveland Cavaliers and now will join a contender in the Lakers.
The team needs all the help they can get after LeBron James and Anthony Davis went down with injuries and this could be the boost they need not only now but for the rest of the season. A great rebounder and blocker, Drummond can do a lot of good things with the purple and gold. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, once he clears waivers at 5 PM ET, Drummond will sign with the Lakers.

The Lakers players did a good job recruiting the player and they won the race for the biggest name left in the buyout market.
LA's stars have been recruiting Drummond hard, and Lakers' situation offers him a chance to step into the starting lineup at center. Drummond is progressing toward finalizing that decision soon, sources said. https://t.co/ctndm08c4K

This move was expected to happen since Drummond was waived by the Cavs and now he’s headed to Cali to team up with one of the best duos in the league. If he manages to help the team stay afloat while Bron and AD are out, the Lakers will be a threat for the rest of the season.
