Talen Horton-Tucker is one of the young prospects on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. He won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers last season and flashed a lot of potential during his minutes. Oftentimes, we see players on championship teams play in smaller roles in order to win. Talen Horton-Tucker is a young player who did just that. If he were drafted on another team, then perhaps he’d get better individual numbers.
Kyle Kuzma is one of the people who believe that Talen Horton-Tucker could be just like the top prospects if given the minutes on a struggling franchise. Recently, Kyle Kuzma has praised Horton-Tucker, and compared to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, Anthony Edwards.

Perhaps Kuzma is right: Talen Horton-Tucker is a savvy guard who plays hard-nosed defense, while also being a solid floor spacer at times. He has been praised by a lot of his teammates, who know what sort of player that he can become. While he could have potentially had better individual statistics on a losing team, on the Los Angeles Lakers he gets to play with a basketball genius in LeBron James. That will most certainly help him in the future. Talen Horton-Tucker is a talented player, and could perhaps become one of those premier star names in the future.
