Shannon Sharpe Is Pissed Off After The Lakers’ 4th Loss In The Last 5 Games: “Lakers Got Exactly What They Deserved. Terrible Effort By Lakers Tonite, VERY DISAPPOINTING.”

Shannon Sharpe was anything but happy with the Los Angeles Lakers after Monday night fiasco against the Washington Wizards at Staples Center. The defending NBA champions couldn’t do the job against the capital team that needed 2 overtime to get past the purple and gold, raising a lot of eyebrows around the league with their performance.

LeBron James couldn’t make a clutch free throw and made a very questionable play in the last seconds of the game to give the win to the Wizards and that earned him a lot of criticism. Even Shannon Sharpe, one of the biggest defenders of the King, blasted the Lakers for their Monday night game. The former NFL player-turned-analyst took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the team and the way they played against Washington.

“Bron, last shot selection tells me he was over this gm. Lakers got exactly what they deserved. Terrible effort by Lakers tonite, VERY DISAPPOINTING,” he wrote.

He also attacked the Lakers’ poor defense in the second half of the game. They allowed 78 points in the 3rd, 4th quarter and overtime, succumbing against the Wizards.

“Best defensive tm in the NBA (Lakers) gave up 78 pts in the 2nd half and OT. I’ve spoken a lot about the lulls in scoring by the Lakers and turnovers. Doomed them again ‍♂️ ‍♂️,” Sharpe continued.

The Lakers need to turn things around before everything gets out of control. Anthony Davis’ return is still a couple of weeks away and this team needs to find the way to survive without their second-best player on the floor. People are concerned about them and even Sharpe had strong words to say about this situation.
