Real Madrid’s Star Toni Kroos Has Big Praise For Stephen Curry: “He Is The Best Player In The NBA”

Basketball has changed a lot over the past decade or so. The league is more oriented towards the perimeter, the offense is more three-point friendly, and players have pretty much given up on the mid-range shot.

If you had to ask why has that happened, the most honest and accurate answer we could give you is: Because of Wardell Stephen Curry.

Curry is perhaps the most influential player of his generation. He’s changed the way the game is played, how defense approach opposing shooters, and the way young hoopers get ready for the big leagues. The NBA is a shooter’s league right now.

That, plus his charisma and the way he seems to have fun every night out there, have made Stephen Curry one of the most popular players all across the globe. In fact, even people from other sports are delighted by his game, including Real Madrid star Toni Kroos:

“Steph Curry is the best player in the NBA. That’s it,” Kroos tweeted.

Steph Curry is the best player in the NBA. Thats it.

— Toni Kroos (@ToniKroos) February 12, 2021

The midfielder’s expertise may be in the pitch and not the hardwood but he’s not that far off. Yes, Curry may not be the best defender in the world but he’s clearly one of the most talented offensive juggernauts to ever lace them up.

Just when people were questioning his legacy, Curry took his game up a notch and reminded everybody just why he became the first unanimous MVP in NBA history and how he helped build the Golden State Warriors’ dynasty.

As a matter of fact, Curry is currently leading the NBA in both three-pointers made and total points scored. Yet, he’s somehow not a top-3 MVP candidate. Luckily for him, he still has two-thirds of the season ahead to prove Kroos’ point.
