2 Min Read

LeBron James is once again the man of the hour in the NBA but not because of a great game he had but for starring in a very controversial moment Monday night. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar found himself involved in a verbal confrontation with a couple sitting courtside. The wife took things personally and went after the King, instantly making the headlines.

The girl, whose name is Juliana Carlos, caught the attention of the NBA community but it wasn’t until LeBron James reacted to the whole exchange that she received her unofficial nickname. The King took to Twitter to send a short but big message that made everybody laugh.

“Courtside Karen was MAD MAD!!” James tweeted.

Of course, that didn’t go unnoticed and a lot of players reacted to it, including LeBron’s teammates and the rest of the NBA.

Carlos explained what happened after the game was over, claiming that Bron had verbally assaulted her and her husband. This was a very entertaining moment for every NBA fan around the world and everybody really had something to say about it. Even Richard Jefferson took sides, but instead of going with LeBron, he picked the girl, making things even funnier.

In the end, LeBron said he missed the interaction with the fans and although the situation quickly escalated, he was happy to have them back in games.
