The Brooklyn Nets may have made a huge trade, but it doesn’t mean all their problems are solved.
Kyrie Irving’s strange and unexplainable behavior these past few weeks has been a huge distraction to the team, that has led to countless criticism from those around the association.
The latest to join the Kyrie hate-wagon include Charles Barkley and Stephen A. Smith, who both called on the Nets star to “grow up or retire.”
“It’s time for Kyrie to grow up.”

Obviously, Irving doesn’t have the best reputation. He has made himself famous for his outlandish comments and bizarre behavior, often describing himself as an “artist” and “woke.”
While many come to his defense, his personality and antics off the court are starting to have a pretty dramatic impact on what is happening to his team on the court. He has become a huge distraction and his current absence is causing some serious issues.
To Stephen A. and Barkley’s point, it may be time for Irving to retire from the game altogether if his personal life is not allowing him to do his job.
It’s a fair argument, but we’ll see what Irving decides to do in the end…
