Young Sixers star Ben Simmons has been the subject of trade rumors in recent days, with seemingly more and more people advocating for the 76ers to trade him in exchange for James Harden.

The swap would be an enormous gamble for Philly, a gamble that not everyone believes the Sixers should (or will) make.

Among those scoffing at a Simmons trade is his sister, Liv, who thoughts her disgust on social media.

In the comments, fans seemed split on whether the team was making the right decision by keeping their core.

Ben is a very good basketball player but why doesn’t he Shoot the basketball?? It’s a major flaw in his game & seems to be more mental than physical. If he put up 7-8 Shot attempts it would completely change his game & out offense. Please Ben just shoot!! Lol

Ben Simmons is a corner stone franchise player locks down every star player on the opposing team scores 17 points average 8-9 rebounds and assists and people wanna trade him because he don’t shoot a 3 basketball didnt even have a 3 at one point

We want Ben here for the rest of his career. Don’t let the few knuckleheads out there fool you. We tanked 3 seasons for Ben and do not want him to go anywhere! He is a lock DPOY this year. We good with that.

With career averages of 16.4 points, 8 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game, there is no question that Ben Simmons is one of the best young stars in the game. But is he worth giving up the opportunity to add James Harden?

No matter what the Sixers decide because that matter is still very much up in the air, it’ll be up to Ben to prove his worth this season.
