Despite showing his willingness to remain committed to the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been linked with plenty of rumors in recent times. The Greek player has struggled to get to the NBA Finals in the past two years and fans believe his time in Milwaukee is finishing. Giannis stated he will stay this season after the team’s owner agreed to spend money and bring the pieces he needs to compete but that could only last one season.

According to Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios, Giannis isn’t so convinced to stay in Milwaukee and he’s already identified his next team in the association. Kyrgios recently revealed he asked Giannis about the Miami Heat and the forward didn’t say any words but replied in a different way.

“I just asked him a bunch of questions,” said Kyrgios in an interview. “I asked him straight away if he was going to go and join Miami and then he had a massive smile on his face. Maybe that could be brewing.”

The Heat are expected to pursue the back-to-back NBA champion next offseason and all the reports suggest that Giannis is very open to that possibility. He wants to win and if he can’t do it in Milwaukee, maybe his destination will be another team. The Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors and even the struggling New York Knicks have been linked with Giannis, but nothing is certain at this moment.

If what Kyrgios said is to believe, the rest of the teams have nothing to do against the Heat. Even via trade, they would have the upper hand with players like Tyler Herro, Jae Crowder, Duncan Robinson, Andre Iguodala and more pieces to trade.
