Giannis Antetokounmpo Gives Bucks Fans Hope With Tweet That May Indicate He Will Stay With Team

2 Min Read

With all the trade rumors currently making headlines, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his upcoming free agency in 2021 is still among the biggest stories in the NBA.

Giannis, a 2x MVP, hasn’t committed to the Bucks past the 2020-21 season, and many feel that he is seriously considering a departure from the franchise he has called home since 2013.

In a Tweet posted by the reigning MVP earlier in the week, however, he responded to a question by the franchise that should give a lot of Bucks fans hope…

The fact that Giannis openly admitted to believing he could break Milwaukee’s franchise record for points in a game has to mean he plans on staying for at least a few more years right?

At 25-years-old, the “Greek Freak” hasn’t given us much to go on in regards to his future plans. In the past, he has expressed admiration and enjoyment about his time with the Bucks. He has also expressed his desire to win, too — something that his current team has yet to do in the playoffs.

We still don’t yet know where he’ll end up next summer, but the simple and short Tweet by Antetokounmpo on Wednesday is definitely an encouraging sign for Milwaukee basketball.
