After a troubling and startling end to their 2020 campaign, the LA Clippers are looking to re-tool their roster, beginning with an upgrade at point guard. While Patrick Beverley is one of basketball’s most talented defenders, the addition of Rondo would bolster their potential on the offensive end.

Rondo, 34, is known as a premier playmaker and excellent ball-handler who consistently makes things easier for teammates on offense. This past season, the 4x All-Star averaged 7.1 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game on 41.8% shooting.

The Lakers will try their best to keep him on the squad for years to come, but there’s just no telling what might happen when Rondo officially hits free agency.
