LeBron James continues to amaze after almost two decades in the NBA. His unprecedented durability and athleticism to perform at the highest level in year 17 are impressive, but the fact that he somehow always finds a way to dominate despite being around the league for that long is even more stunning.

More recently, NBA analyst Nick Wright put LeBron’s dominance in the NBA Finals in perspective by letting it be known that he now holds the record for the highest field goal percentage in two-pointers NBA playoff history, becoming now the owner of the 1st, 2nd, and 5th best marks ever:

“This is just insane. LeBron, in Year 17 at 35 years old, just shot the highest FG% on 2s in NBA *playoff history*. Breaking his own record. He now has the best, 2nd best & 5th best marks in NBA playoff history. Even prime Shaq never came close to this,” Wright tweeted next to a picture of the highest FG% in 2-pointers in the NBA Finals in the history of the league:

It really puts things in perspective to see that not even the most unstoppable force and the most dominant big man in the history of the game like Shaquille O’Neal in his prime could top or match LeBron James’ efficiency inside the paint.

Even if he’s got that 4-6 record in the NBA Finals, even if someone did it better or first, even if you don’t like him, no one can take anything away from LeBron James in this point of his career.
