LeBron James is considered by the media, the fans, and even his peers and rivals one of the greatest players of all time for countless reasons but one of the main has to be his unselfishness.

James is a great scorer but has always had a feel for getting his teammates involved. He thrives while making everybody around him better, and that’s just one of many reasons why all veteran players want to team up with him for a Championship run.

In fact, even Kevin Garnett – who was one of his biggest rivals from the Celtics’ Big 3 era – recently had no choice but to laud LeBron’s playmaking and ability to get everybody involved in the offense:

“He’s the most unselfish player we’ve ever had. His superpower has always the ability to bring out the best in his teammates. The King has a real finesse of when to attack, when to be aggressive and when to play it safe,” Garnett said on a phone interview with Yahoo! Sports, as quoted by Essentially Sports.

The Hall of Famer went on to add that LeBron has looked more focused than ever this season after missing the playoffs last year and that his ability to pick apart opposing defenses is still elite at his age:

“You can tell missing his first postseason since 2005 last year brought out a very focused player in him this season. LeBron’s attention to detail is unmatched. He does a great job of focusing on the strengths of the competition and fine-tuning his own game to rival that intensity,” The Big Ticket added.

That’s definitely a lot of praise coming from a reckless competitor and elite trash-talker like KG, especially considering James’ history vs. the Celtics.

Then again, not even his biggest detractors can deny the fact that James is a unique talent and will go down as a top-3 player ever once it’s all said and done.
