Vanessa Bryant Hits Back At Her Mom’s Claims About Kicking Her Out Of Home: “Our Personal Relationship Ends Here”

Kobe Bryant’s tragic death has brought up some controversy between his wife Vanessa Bryant and her mother in law, Sofia Laine. Vanessa’s mom claimed in a recent interview that her daughter kicked her out of home and demanded her to return the car she was using.

“She told me, ‘I need you to get out of this house.’ She also told me that she wanted her car and she wants it now,” Laine said in an interview with Univision.

This was a huge accusation and obviously, Vanessa wasn’t having any of that. She replied to these remarks and sent a big message to her mother, showing his unhappiness with these words.

She wrote, “My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly, and yet my mother had the audacity to do a television interview speaking negatively of me while shedding tears for a car and a house that were not in her name.“She has removed all her diamond jewelry, emptied the apartment I provided, and put away the furniture to make it look like she doesn’t have my support,” added Vanessa. “My husband and I have supported her financially for the past 20 years, and continue to do so, in addition to her monthly alimony.”

Vanessa also made her own case against her mother, stating she hasn’t been there for her granddaughters since Kobe’s passing. This is a moment when kids need all the love and support they can get, but Ms. Sofia has failed at that task, according to Vanessa.

“Sofia has not been physically present or emotionally supportive’ of her and her daughters Natalia, 17, Bianka, three, and Capri, one, since Kobe and Gigi’s deaths.” She concluded her statement and said, “Now I see what is most important to my mother and it’s more than painful. I hope that everything that is coming out about our personal relationship ends here.”

It’s sad that after Kobe’s passing these things are taking place in his family. We’re pretty sure this is not how he wanted to see his loved ones live after he left this world. Things look unfixable between Vanessa and her mother seeing that line about their personal relationship. Things could have been handled differently and now this family is broken.

Kobe passed away last January 26 after a fatal helicopter crash that killed him, his daughter Gianna and seven others. As we recently stated, it‘s time to leave Vanessa alone and let her grieve Kobe’s death in peace. However, not everybody is on the same page, not even his mom.
