NBA Twitter Blasts Pascal Siakam Following Raptors’ Loss To The Celtics

The Toronto Raptors entered today’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals as 2.5-point favorites according to most oddsmakers. However, the Boston Celtics were all over them since the start of the game and their defense truly got the best of the defending Champions.

Brad Stevens’ team jumped to a 17-point lead in the first half and led by double digits for most of the game. The Raptors never knew what hit them and most of their usual contributors struggled to get anything going in the offensive end.

Pascal Siakam continued to play poorly and only scored 13 points on 16 shots with 3 rebounds, 2 dimes, and 2 turnovers. Moreover, he was -20 in 33 minutes of play tonight and NBA Twitter just couldn’t handle it anymore.

Even though it’s just one loss, Raptors fans are heavily concerned about Siakam’s play since the restart of the season and rightfully so. ‘Spicy P’ has been quite inefficient as a scorer and just doesn’t seem quite there mentally right now. Hopefully, he’ll get it going in no time and he’ll recover his confidence. The Raptors will only get as far as he can lead them.
