Clippers Fans Started Petition To Force Paul George To Play Overseas

2 Min Read

It looks like the Los Angeles Clippers fans have had enough of Paul George and they have started a petition to force the swingman play overseas. Yes, they have reached that limit. PG13 hasn’t been the best in the first four games of the 2020 NBA playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard has carried him and the rest of the team since he’s not playing his best basketball. In the past three games, he’s averaged just 11.3 points on 21% from the field and 16% from three.

George is aware that his offense could have impacted the series in favor of his team, but that hasn’t been the case so far.

“If I make shots, this series could be a little different. And that’s the obvious, of course. That’s what it just comes down to. But give them credit, they’re playing well, they’re defending, they’re shooting the ball, Luka is playing phenomenal — you gotta give credit where credit is due. But to be honest, in hindsight, if I shoot the ball better, this series would be a lot different.”

Well, it’s good that George has acknowledged that but the Clippers fans are tired of him and someone started a petition to take the former Indiana Pacer to play overseas.

The explanation is something that wouldn’t please George, but it’s not like this person cares a lot about it.

“society has passed the need for Paul George to play in the nba,” the petition reads.

PG needs to step his game. He went from calling himself ‘Playoff P’ to be called ‘Pandemic P’ around the NBA community. He’ll have a good chance to redeem himself in Game 5 or continue struggling and earning the hate of the team’s fans.
