Allen Iverson will go do as one of the most talented players the NBA has seen ever. He did a lot of good things during his NBA career, and even though the Answer never won a ring, he made sure to leave his mark on the game.

AI just turned 45 this weekend and he celebrated his birthday thanking for being right where he is and the people who took him there. Time flies and Iverson is only 10 years apart from cashing in one big check that’s waiting for him since 2001.

According to Darren Rovell of The Action Network, ‘The Answer’ signed a historic deal with Reebok that guaranteed him a huge sum of money when he turns 55. The deal was penned in 2001, the same year AI won NBA MVP award while leading the Sixers to the NBA Finals where the Lakers swept them.

“Allen Iverson turns 45 today. Ten years from today, on his 55th birthday, he receives a $32 million trust fund as part of the lifetime Reebok deal he signed in 2001,” Rovell wrote on Twitter.

This will be an addition to the nearly $1 million annual salary he gets from Reebok, but in 2030, Iverson will get a big increase in that paycheck.

As the years go by, Allen gets older, wiser and 10 years from now he’ll get considerably richer. He might be retired, but he’s still getting those buckets.
