The NBA Finals have seen a lot of memorable shots to tie games, to give the lead to a team in crunch time, or to win a game. We’ve seen plenty of those shots, but for the former Miami Heat stars Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem, Ray Allen’s 3-pointers in Game 6 of the 2013 Finals is the biggest shot in the history of the Finals.
Wade and Haslem joined Bleacher Report’s “Run It Back” to re-watch Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals with former forward Channing Frye. At some point, Wade asked if his Frye and Haslem could remember a bigger shot than that one. That shot was iconic, it’s still unbelievable now after seven years and Flash is convinced that’s the greatest shot made in the Finals.

“We were about to lose the championship,” Wade commented Haslem agreed.
“Ray had to back-peddle and get to the 3[-point line] and get his feet set and get that thing up,” Haslem added.
Chris Bosh saved a huge rebound that would become a pass to Allen who made a big 3-pointer from the corner, tying a game that would have given the San Antonio Spurs their 5th NBA title. After that, the Heat completed the comeback, winning that Game 6 and the last game of the series. Allen played a big role in that title, so no wonder why Wade considers his shot so important for them.
