“The Last Dance” is showing everyone just how hard Michael Jordan worked. His drive to be the best basketball player he could be was manifested through his amazing work ethic and it led to him becoming one of the greatest basketball players ever.

And while there’s a lot that goes into dominating on the court, hard work can get you a long way.

The good news for The Los Angeles Clippers is that their main star, Kawhi Leonard, seems to understand the importance of work more than most.

Despite having two NBA Championships, and a couple of Finals MVPs to go along with it, Kawhi is apparently working as if he’s still got something to prove.

Kawhi is coming off a legendary individual title run.

Keep in mind, this is the same guy who just came of fone of the greatest individual title runs in history and who is already recognized as one of the best players in the league. This season, he’s averaging 26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game on 46.9% shooting. Those numbers are not counting the impact he makes on the defensive end.

It remains to be seen how all of this will translate for the Clippers this season, but there is a lot of optimism. The team is hungry, loaded with talent, and being led by a guy who is constantly working to hone and master a craft he is already so darn good at.
