Stephen A. Smith Reveals Top 5 Teams In The NBA Right Now

Stephen A. Smith has listed which teams he considers are the best of the best in the NBA right now. We’re entering the final stretch of the regular season and some squads look better than others ahead of the playoffs.

During Tuesday’s edition of ‘First Take’, the ESPN analyst named the five best teams at the moment, with some surprising names for plenty of fans.

With the number 5, he picked the Denver Nuggets, as he recalled the things he did against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. Even though they didn’t count on Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Nuggets knew how to take advantage of that situation, beating the team with the best record in the league.

The Toronto Raptors were his fourth pick given the things they’ve been doing even after they lost Kawhi Leonard in free agency. They are the current NBA champions and ruling them out it’s not a good idea.

The Los Angeles Clippers landed in the third position because of the duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, as well as their head coach, Doc Rivers. The Clips were already considered one of the best teams in the league before the start of the season, but the things they’re doing right now only make you think they do have a big case to win the title this year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks are the second-best team in the league, according to Smith. Giannis is exactly the reason why they rank so high and why they are the team with the best record in the association. Besides, their coach and the players that accompany the Greek Freak make this team a really dangerous one.

In the first position, he placed the Los Angeles Lakers.

“LeBron James, 35 years, old, 17th season, still playing like a league MVP. Anthony Davis, top 5 dude on the planet. They not only beat the Clippers and the Bucks, but other guys have also been showing up.”

The Lakers are displaying really good things right now, and despite the Bucks have the best record in the league at this moment, there is no doubt the Purple and Gold have the best actuality.
