Kai Cenat received a special gift from LeBron James recently, as James sent him a bottle of his new Hennessy collaboration. Cenat immediately joked about taking a sip and becoming LeBron James, before doing just that and immediately mimicking James while on stream.

“LeBron, you thought they were going to put your DNA in some alcohol, and I wasn’t going to try this sh*t? Are you telling me if I drink this, I become LeBron? ‘Ain’t that our ball?’… I feel taller.”

The first bit of mimicking came when Kai Cenat referenced an iconic LeBron James meme from the 2020 NBA Bubble, where James kept repeatedly yelling that the Lakers actually had the ball, during a game from their first-round series with the Portland Trail Blazers.

He then also mimicked James’ signature celebration, before joking that he felt taller after drinking the cognac. It was a hilarious sight to see, especially considering how big a fan Cenat is of LeBron James, and often references him.

Cenat had LeBron James on his stream with Kevin Hart and Druski, but not in person. Hart called James on the phone, who stayed on and spoke to the trio the entire time. Druski even tried to get LeBron James to say the N-word on the call.

During the stream, James joked that he was playing in Game 8 of the NBA Finals, which was because the stream was occurring during the 2024 NBA Finals between the Celtics and the Mavericks. James and the Lakers, of course, had been eliminated in the first round by the Denver Nuggets.

Cenat was then invited to Team USA’s training camp at the beginning of July, where he got to interact with LeBron and other Team USA stars during their media commitments.

LeBron James’ Hennessy Collaboration Already Generating Interest

LeBron James recently launched his new collaboration with Hennessy cognac. This collaboration was revealed with a hilarious commercial that leaned into the jokes about LeBron James claiming he was present for historical moments, which he did in the commercial when he joked about meeting Rashard Hennessy in 1765.

This is far from the only hilarious commercial James has made to promote a liquor brand, as he starred in one recently with actress Victoria Justice where they parodied James Bond while promoting James’ own tequila brand, Lobos.

It is good to see James expanding his business portfolio, and using his resources to expand his ventures. James recently spoke in the Netflix ‘Starting 5’ docuseries about how he struggled to balance the fame and money he was making during the early years of his life.

While all of his business ventures are finding success, the business he will be most concerned with is the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers won their first preseason game, as they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 107-102. James played just 16 minutes, and put up 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

James had a poor shooting night, going 4-11 from the field, but shot well from beyond the arc, going 2-4. LeBron and the Lakers will be hoping that this was just an off-night brought about by their tight travel schedule, which James also complained about.

The Lakers next play against the Warriors on Tuesday night in Las Vegas, where James will be hoping to have a better performance, if he chooses to play.
