LeBron James had a sensational showing in Team USA’s win against Germany today. James led Team USA to victory with some incredible plays. And in the last few minutes, James took the game into his own hands, scoring 11 points in the last 4:20. James would end up outscoring the entirety of the German team (8 points) during this period.

James, as mentioned before, put on a show against Germany. In the entire game, he put up 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal as he led Team USA to the win in their final showcase game ahead of the Paris Olympics. James, despite being the oldest player on the team, turned back the clock with a timeless performance.

James has continued to show that he is still one of the best players in the world right now. James has proven to be pivotal for Team USA during their showcase games. Prior to today’s game, James made the game-winner for Team USA against South Sudan, saving the team some embarrassment.

Team USA is considered the favorite to win it all at the Olympics. LeBron James has the opportunity to tie Carmelo Anthony in the medal count with a win this year, as both players will have three gold medals and a bronze model in their Olympic careers. However, Kevin Durant would be ranked higher than them, as he would have four gold medals.

LeBron James chose to play for Team USA after their humiliating exit from the 2019 FIBA World Cup at the hands of their opponents today, Germany. It would be fair to say that Team USA got a measure of revenge heading into the Olympics this year.

LeBron James Continues To Make History

Earlier today, LeBron James was informed that he was selected as one of the flag bearers for the United States at the Olympics’ opening ceremony. It is an honor of the highest order, something only the best athletes in history are afforded. James’ legacy made him one of the obvious choices to be one of the faces of Team USA’s Olympic endeavors.

LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Joel Embiid will be guaranteed starters for Team USA. These three players have made themselves undeniable for head coach Steve Kerr, who wants to build the starting lineup around them for this tournament.

Team USA’s hunt for their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal begins in Paris on July 28th, as they take on Serbia. Team USA has already defeated Serbia in their warm-up games, and will feel confident about the momentum they have heading into this tournament.

Team USA went undefeated in their showcase games going into the Olympics. This will undoubtedly give the squad even more confidence heading into the tournament. Team USA’s status as favorites will definitely be tested, as the best players in the world represent their countries against them. But with the squad that they have available, they will feel confident in their chances to win it all.
