Draymond Green is excited to check out LeBron James and JJ Redick’s new Mind the Game podcast, but he is also a little bit upset. On the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green applauded the concept of the podcast but stated he wished James had come on his show.

“I must say I am a little upset that LeBron James is like, going on the podcast and he still hasn’t been on the Draymond Green Show,” Green said. “But when it’s your own thing, you kinda can’t say anything, so I guess I’ll live with it for now. Pick the bone with him that I got to pick with him later.”

(starts at 1:04 mark):

Green and James are good friends, so you understand him being a little upset that he never came on his podcast. Draymond and LeBron were spotted dancing together at a concert last year and have grown very close over time.

As Draymond said, though, LeBron has started his own thing. He didn’t go on someone else’s podcast before Green’s, so he can’t say too much. Still, he will speak to James at some point, and who knows, maybe we will see them appear on each other’s show somewhere down the line.

NBA Fans Roasted Draymond Green

As you might imagine, Green’s comments went viral on social media, and NBA fans hilariously roasted him for being upset.

One fan ruthlessly asked if Green was upset that LeBron married Savannah James and not him.

Was he also upset when Bron married Savannah and not him?

A fan wildly showed how Green would react the next time he saw Redick.

One fan brutally stated that LeBron might show up if Green wasn’t recording in a bathroom.

One fan used Green’s infamous comment on Paul Pierce to roast him.

He don’t love you like that…you thought was JJ?

It certainly was surprising that Green said it out loud. He had to have known that social media would react in that manner to him admitting he was a bit upset, but he clearly did not.

Draymond Green Believes The Warriors Would Have Won The Title Had They Acquired LeBron James

Green has often been criticized for how close he is to LeBron as they are competing against each other. Well, the Golden State Warriors tried to change that, as they attempted to trade for LeBron at the deadline, but they ultimately failed in that quest. Afterward, Green said the Warriors would have won the NBA championship with James.

“The basketball I think that’s the easiest part,” Draymond continued. “Because you got a bunch of guys who know the game and ain’t in competition with the next guy. Very at peace with where they are. The number one thing would be to win. You also have a group of guys that know how to win… I think that teams win the championship, no problem.”

They might not have won it all this year, but I think the Warriors would have been the clear favorites next season if they had LeBron. He and Stephen Curry are getting up there in age, but I can see them continuing to play at a high level for another two seasons or so.

Now, though, Green and the Warriors, who are 35-35 on the season, have to figure out a way to get over the line without LeBron. I don’t believe they will find a way, and this team’s ceiling looks to be the Western Conference Semifinals.
