Marcus Jordan posted a picture with Michael Jordan on Instagram on Sunday night, as rumors swirl around that he and Larsa Pippen have broken up.
Marcus shared in an earlier story that he was spending time with his father and the rest of the Jordan family as they watched the Super Bowl together. The fact that the 33-year-old chose to be with them and not Larsa wouldn’t have normally raised any eyebrows, but it comes on the back of those breakup rumors.
A quick look at their respective Instagram profiles shows they no longer follow each other. All pictures of the two of them together have also been deleted, except for one, which Larsa appears to have forgotten to delete.
To add more fuel to the fire, Pippen also put out an interesting story on Instagram. The 49-year-old asked whether your friends should unfollow your ex.
All of this does give credence to the rumor that they have broken up, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. This could be just the two having an argument like couples tend to have, or they could also very well just be messing around with their fans. We should find out soon enough just what exactly has gone down between them.
The Larsa Pippen-Marcus Jordan Relationship Timeline
Larsa and Marcus first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted together on a date back in September 2022. Pippen and Jordan were even pictured kissing but continued to deny that they were in a relationship. Then in January 2023, Larsa made it official that she and Marcus were dating, incidentally with that Instagram post that she did not delete.
Their age difference alone would have made it a somewhat controversial relationship, and the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen element made matters worse. Scottie and Michael enjoyed tremendous success on the court as teammates on the Chicago Bulls but their relationship went south after the Last Dance documentary came out.
The fact that Pippen’s ex-wife and Jordan’s son were now dating was something that made many uncomfortable. Michael Jordan even said he did not approve of Marcus dating Larsa when asked about the relationship while exiting a restaurant in Paris. Marcus, however, later stated that Jordan and his family love and approve of his relationship with Pippen.
Despite the backlash that kept coming their way over time, these two had seemingly gone from strength to strength. It was revealed back in August 2023 that Jordan and Pippen were planning their wedding.
Marcus even said he wanted his father to be his best man at his wedding with Larsa, but apart from that, we hadn’t really heard much about the ceremony. The fact that nothing had seemingly happened in all these months had raised some eyebrows.
Then again, Larsa boasted about having sex five times a night with Marcus just last month, so things still seemed to be fine between the two of them. They even appeared together on season two of Peacock’s competition series, The Traitors.
If the relationship has indeed ended now, you’d think something quite serious had to have occurred. You can never know for sure just what exactly is going on in a relationship from the outside, but it had seemed to be smooth sailing between them up to this point.
