Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen appeared on Pablo Toree’s show, where Torre got some details about their wedding. In the conversation, Marcus revealed he wants his father, Michael Jordan, to be the best man at his wedding.

Jordan also provided an update on how their wedding planning is going, claiming that the ceremony is on its way but maybe a while away.
“It’s in the works,’ is my go-to saying right now. I don’t think we have, like, a date. We’re still talking about locations and party size and all of that stuff. So it’s not really concrete yet, but it’ll happen.”
Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have been together for a while now, and their getting married is getting more of a normal reaction from people around the world. There was a lot of initial outcry because of Larsa’s ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, and the age gap between Larsa and Macrus, but it’s clear that as time goes on, fewer people care about hating on love.
Michael Jordan Reportedly Doesn’t Approve Of The Relationship
Marcus wanting his father to be his best man is very interesting, given Michael reportedly has already expressed his disapproval of this relationship. Given he’s known Larsa for decades as Pippen’s wife, it has to be weird for the six-time Finals MVP to see his son getting married to her now.
Larsa had revealed that MJ’s disapproval personally affected her as well.
“You thought it was funny,” Larsa Pippen said to Marcus Jordan on their Separation Anxiety podcast. “I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it. I kinda felt like it went everywhere and I was kind of embarrassed.”
Given that Larsa claims she hasn’t hung out with Michael since she started dating her son, Jordan’s feelings on the matter have been known to the couple.
“No, I haven’t hung out with his dad. I’ve only hung out with his mom… It’s probably awkward for them, for my ex and Michael, but I get it. I’m not crazy. I understand it’s different for them.”
With such a dynamic, it’ll be extremely fascinating to see if Michael shows up to the wedding. Marcus claims it’s a tradition for his father and his brother to be best men at each other’s weddings, so the lack of Michael appearing could cause some pain to is son.
If the wedding is televised for a big TV special, Michael may almost certainly not show up given the spectacle it’ll end up being. It’s hard to miss your son’s wedding, so we’ll have to wait however long it takes for a wedding to be planned and see if Michael shows up to the wedding.
