The Golden State Warriors have returned to winning ways after hosting the Houston Rockets and beating them 116-121 in a great matchup. The Warriors offense finally clicked on all cylinders, as fans were ecstatic over all the positive signs they saw in this win.

One fan remarked on how multiple players stepped up to make sure this win was possible.

Klay first 20-point game
CP3 double double
Steph 30-ball
Saric 18 off the bench
21 made threes

Needed that win BAD, we move.

Warriors fans, in general, were overjoyed that their losing streak finally ended against a tricky opponent like Houston.

Stephen Curry continues to amaze fans with his unselfish play on the court, as he allowed Klay and Wiggins to find their shot through the first three-quarters of the game.

Warriors fans cheered along with Klay Thompson, who finally played the way everyone expected him to for his first 20-point game of the season.

Some non-Warriors fans decided to rain on their parade by remarking how they were made to fight for the win until the end against a Rockets team that played the Lakers last night.

The history between Golden State and Houston in the last decade isn’t one that Rockets fans want to talk about, but fans noticed how Curry and Klay had combined 52 points to win in a vintage Splash Brothers performance.

Stephen Curry had taken just eight shots through the first three quarters before coming alive in the fourth and ending the night with 32 points. Klay Thompson had his first 20-point game of the season, while Dario Saric came off the bench for a mega 18 points. Chris Paul as a starter notched a double-double with 15 points and 12 assists.

The Rockets were led by another sensational game from Alperen Sengun, who had 30 points and 13 rebounds on the night. Jalen Green had 16 points but barely played due to his poor defense on the night. Dillon Brooks had 16 points while Jabari Smith Jr. had 17 points.

Are The Warriors A Top-Six Team?

The Warriors have to prove they can hold their own among the hot starters in the West this season, along with expected contenders around them to secure a top-six seed in the conference. Knowing what we know about the roster after 15 games isn’t all that clear either.

The Warriors can perform up to expectations if Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins find their form once again. Along with that, Draymond Green will be back soon to reinforce their defense, though Jonathan Kuminga has been a great stand-in through the last few games. Many encouraging signs make it clear that writing Golden State off is a fool’s errand.

The teams around them aren’t perfect and they could catch them if they can go on a run. The Pelicans and Suns have shown similar inconsistencies and poor injury track record. The Rockets aren’t further along to be a realistic top-six team, while the Lakers have lineup inconsistencies and injury concerns as well. The Kings and Mavericks have had great starts but have gaping flaws that could level their record out as the season goes along.

The Warriors have the experience and continuity required to make it through the West. They looked sensational when they started the season 6-2, but avoiding massive losing streaks like the six-game streak they snapped tonight will be key. If they can find consistent production from players not named Stephen Curry, this is a very dangerous team in the West.
