Michael Jordan may be retired from basketball, but he’s still winning at life. The six-time NBA champion and global icon was recently spotted vacationing in Croatia, cruising along the Adriatic coast aboard his jaw-dropping $115 million superyacht, M’Brace. It’s a life of luxury only the greatest can afford and MJ is making the most of it.

The 62-year-old NBA legend, accompanied by his wife Yvette Prieto, their twin daughters, and extended family, was seen soaking in the Mediterranean summer sun during his latest European getaway.

His yacht a 75-meter floating palace was anchored near Lokrum Island, just off Dubrovnik’s famous Old Town, turning heads and stirring buzz across the region. Fans lucky enough to be in Skradin or Dubrovnik this week caught rare glimpses of Jordan casually strolling through town, dressed in a white bucket hat, green swim trunks, and that unmistakable Jordan aura.

Croatia has become one of Jordan’s favorite vacation spots in recent years. He first made waves here in 2021, visiting Hvar, Split, and Dubrovnik. His return in 2025 is proof that the Adriatic charm hasn’t worn off. This time, Jordan explored the quieter corners of Croatia as well, including the historic coastal town of Skradin, where he was seen enjoying the cobblestone streets, the world-famous Krka waterfalls, and local cuisine — all while maintaining a low profile, as much as an international billionaire can.

M’Brace isn’t just a yacht. It’s a floating monument to excess, equipped with helipads, swimming pools, multiple decks, and top-tier service. And Jordan, who built an empire off his Air Jordan brand and savvy investments, is more than capable of affording such opulence. With a net worth estimated at $3.5 billion, and $300 million reportedly earned in 2024 alone thanks to the Jordan Brand’s $7 billion in revenue, the man who once ruled the NBA hardwood is now dominating retirement like no other.

A few weeks ago, Jordan made headlines in Portugal when he stopped to watch a street performer, only to politely decline a fan photo request after noticing the person was wearing an Adidas shirt. The moment added another quirky chapter to Jordan’s ongoing European escapades, which have become something of a summer tradition for the basketball icon.

Europe has long been a favored playground for MJ. Over the years, he’s danced in Capri with his wife Yvette, partied through the fashion streets of Milan, and shared a luxury dinner with Magic Johnson during one of his many high-end vacations. Italy holds a special place in Jordan’s heart.

Back in 2022, a Milan cigar shop manager recounted a now-viral story of Jordan casually strolling in, asking for cigar recommendations like any laid-back tourist, except this one happened to be a six-time NBA champion. That same summer, he was spotted cruising Lake Como with George Clooney.

The year before, in 2021, he drew attention for relaxing along the Croatian coast aboard a $1.2 million-per-week superyacht.

But while this might look like just another European vacation for Jordan, there’s a twist this summer. After selling his stake in the Charlotte Hornets in 2023 for $3 billion, MJ is preparing for his next chapter: a return to basketball, this time behind the mic.

Jordan will serve as a special contributor for NBC and Peacock as part of the NBA’s new media rights deal. Sources say he’s eager to re-establish himself as a central figure in the league, reminding a new generation of fans who truly paved the way.

For now, though, he’s still enjoying the life he built, puffing cigars on deck, exploring Europe, and spending time with family. After conquering the game of basketball, Michael Jordan seems just as determined to conquer leisure and Croatia is the latest jewel in his royal summer.
