George clearly intended for Thompson to simply provide commentary on the situation between him and Booker, rather than looking for a response that would make the headline. It will be interesting to see if Booker responds to this revelation from George and whether the two can mend their relationship in the future.
Last season, Paul George averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game for the Los Angeles Clippers. The team needs him to get back to All-NBA form next season, and hopefully, George ends up having a productive year with the franchise.

For those who are following this rivalry closely, the Suns and the Clippers will face off against one another four times next season. The first matchup will be on Jan. 3 in Phoenix. Then, we will get a game on Jan. 8 in Los Angeles. The two then don’t face one another until the back-to-back on Apr. 9 and Apr. 10, with the first matchup being in Los Angeles and the other in Phoenix.
It will be interesting to see how Booker and George perform in those games. Both stars will likely have a point to prove, which could result in some spectacular outings offensively.
