The Milwaukee Bucks have shocked the NBA world after trading for Damian Lillard.
Jimmy Butler has posted a video voicing his displeasure to the trade. Lillard has been connected with the Miami Heat ever since he requested a trade back on July 1st.
In the video, Butler made a bold claim, asking the NBA to look into the Bucks for tampering.

Is this just Butler being upset at Lillard not winding up in Miami? Or is there some truth behind these claims? Have the Bucks tampered with Lillard?
Damian Lillard Is A Milwaukee Buck
Damian Lillard is now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. He joins Giannis Antetokounmpo in his request to avenge the Bucks’ loss in the 2023 NBA Playoffs to the Miami Heat.
The Heat desperately tried to trade for Lillard, giving Butler a teammate who could take over the offense during times it gets stagnant. Now, Butler is still the lone star in Miami, as Giannis will have the best teammate he’s ever played with.
Last season, Lillard averaged 32.2 points, 7.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game. This would have fit nicely next to Butler’s 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
Even though Butler can go off offensively at any time, this is not his strong suit. Butler’s calling card is his defense. If the Heat landed Lillard, Butler could take a backseat on offense and focus more on the defensive side. This would have made the Heat one of the favorites to win the 2023-24 NBA championship.
As of now, the Bucks should be the title favorites, as they have the best duo in the NBA. Lillard’s outside shooting fits perfectly next to Giannis’ slashing game, and it’s going to be fun to watch. Even if Butler is upset.
