• Shannon Sharpe was on a private plane and showed off his incredible breakfast

• Sharpe is currently working with ESPN as a co-host of First Take

• The NFL Hall of Famer lives a comfortable life

Shannon Sharpe lives a lavish lifestyle, something he’s earned for himself after lifting his family out of poverty and accruing generational wealth over his NFL and broadcasting career. Sharpe has plenty of money to spend, as he showed recently while on a private plane to Colorado last week.

Boarding a plane in your pajamas, taking a nap, waking up, and being served a full breakfast with French toast, sausage patties, and eggs seems too ludicrous to begin with. But when you have access to the wealth that Sharpe has earned, it becomes just another perk of living a particular lifestyle.

Sharpe was on his way to watch Deion Sanders’ University of Colorado play their home opener, a game that Coach Prime’s team won handily.

NBA Fans Hilariously React To Shannon Sharpe’s Flexing On Airplane

Fans were all over Sharpe’s post on Instagram, showing a lot of positivity towards the NFL Hall of Famer and the lifestyle he has worked hard to earn.

One fan said, “Damn unc, you ain’t have to flex like that!”

Another fan commented on the undisclosed money ESPN is paying him, “ESPN Bag different.”

Fans loved the flex, “Just a slight flex on a Saturday morning…”

More fans commented on his recent split from Fox Sports for ESPN, “Man left his ex and ain’t looked back! We see you UNC!”

Fans were even commenting on the food, “The French toast has a buff fluff to it!”

Given the cost Shannon takes every time he flies on his jet, he is bound to be getting the absolute best service every time he flies.

There are legitimate concerns about the impact of using private jets on our environment, but flying commercially for VIPs like Sharpe who travel all over the country for their job isn’t a solution.

Shannon Sharpe Reveals How Much His Private Jet Is Per Hour

Sharpe was speaking to former NFL player Chad Ochocinco about his private jet on a recent podcast, where he revealed that he pays $15,000 to $20,000 per trip.

“It depends on how big the jet is and how far you’re going. You want a G5 or a G6, so you’re talking about 10, 15, or $20,000 an hour… You saw your boy laying down, eating breakfast? Breakfast in bed at 30,000 (feet).”

Ochocinco was shocked at the price Sharpe paid to fly private. He argued that he could take a Spirit Airlines flight, eat breakfast before boarding the plane, and sleep while in the air to save a lot of money. Sharpe made it clear that he isn’t wasteful with his money, but the commitments he has, flying around the country on a jet probably saves him time and allows him to remain comfortable and not be hounded by fans.

Sharpe was spotted in an airport last season and was not happy about fans recording him without his consent.

Shannon Sharpe’s Net Worth

Shannon Sharpe played in the NFL for 14 seasons and made an estimated $22 million over the course of his playing career. But he retired over 20 years ago and has been expanding his financial portfolio through the broadcasting jobs he has had over the years and the investments he has made. Sharpe has an estimated net worth of about $14 million.

It’s unclear how much Shannon is making currently with ESPN, but he was making a reported $3 million a season when he was co-hosting Undisputed with Shannon Sharpe. He’s likely gotten an increase on that salary, which would make sense given his popularity around the country.

Sharpe has previously endorsed Pizza Hut, Pepsi, Reebok, and other brands. In recent years, he has built a very robust real estate portfolio, as he had indicated earlier that he was working to accrue properties and flip them. In addition, he also has his own clothing brand called ‘S.H.A.R.P.E’ which is short for ‘”Strong, Humble, Aggressive, Respectful, Proud, Educated.”
