  • The Beard receives a huge welcome in China during his recent visit

James Harden spent nine seasons with the Houston Rockets. During his stint with the franchise, Harden’s popularity in China was immense. After all, the Rockets remain incredibly popular in the country due to drafting Yao Ming in the 2002 NBA Draft.

Anyway, speaking of the Beard, he recently arrived in China. The 33-year-old received a massive welcome from Chinese fans, proving that his popularity in the country remains intact.

It’s great to see that Harden remains a beloved player in China despite the controversy in 2019. Then-Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted about supporting Hong Kong, leading to getting blasted by Chinese fans.

Harden was in China at the time, and after getting called out, he apologized to fans for his GM’s tweet. At the end of the day, Harden’s apology worked, and he remains one of the faces of the NBA in China.

James Harden Wants To Play For The Los Angeles Clippers

James Harden will soon be 34 years old. He’s undoubtedly in the twilight years of his NBA career and is yet to win a title. Harden tried his luck with the Philadelphia 76ers, but ultimately it didn’t work.

Following a 4-3 loss in the 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Boston Celtics, James Harden has played his last game for the 76ers. He demanded a trade away from the team earlier this summer.

Moreover, the Beard has made it clear that the only team that he wants to play for is the Los Angeles Clippers. But according to recent reports, the Clippers are unserious about a trade involving Harden.

James Harden averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game in the 2022-23 season. He can definitely be a great addition to the Clippers’ roster for the upcoming season. But will the Clippers trade for him? Only time will tell.
