  • Adam Sandler has been a regular at NBA games

Adam Sandler’s love for basketball is well-known. And the ‘Hustle’ star went one notch above when he showed off his passing skills during a friendly pickup game.

In one of the videos that went viral earlier, the 56-year-old was seen playing and at one stretch, he could be seen piercing through defenders to nail precision passes that resulted in buckets.

Dressed in a pink tee and blue shorts, Sandler’s point guard skills were on full display.

Spotting Sandler at pickup games is a regular occurrence. A couple of weeks earlier, he was seen with ‘Dune’ star Timothy Chalamet at a NYC basketball court.

And the NBA stars have noticed his love for the game as well. Shaquille O’Neal once called him a “damn good player” and now that means something.

Adam Sandler’s Basketball Drama ‘Hustle’ Opened To Rave Reviews On Netflix

Last year, one of Adam Sandler’s biggest projects was Hustle starring real NBA star Juancho Hernangómez. It also boasted of current NBA players Anthony Edwards, Boban Marjanović, Anthony Edwards, Trae Young, Jordan Clarkson, Khris Middleton, Aaron Gordon, Kyle Lowry, Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, and Matisse Thybulle.

LeBron James produced the movie through his SpringHill Company banner. 86% of 44 critics’ reviews were positive on Rotten Tomatoes.

In case you still haven’t caught it, which you should, the official synopsis reads:

The official synopsis reads, “After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down-on-his-luck basketball scout (Adam Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval. Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.”

“Directed by Jeremiah Zagar, the movie also stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Juancho Hernangómez as Bo Cruz, Ainhoa Pillet, Kenny Smith, Silas Graham, Lenjo Kilo, Marcus Delpeche, Malcolm Delpeche, Raúl Castillo as Oscar, Jaleel White, and Heidi Gardner, play crucial roles.”

‘Hustle’ can be streamed on Netflix.
